Within the framework of enhancing academic cooperation prospects and implementing the terms of the scientific twinning agreement between the University of Karbala / College of Tourism Sciences and Ahlulbayt University / College of Islamic Sciences – Department of Religious Tourism, a joint scientific meeting was held, bringing together the Head of the Religious Tourism Department at Ahlulbayt University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Mohammed Dabbagh, and the Deanship of the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Karbala.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salam Al-Asadi, the Scientific Assistant Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Muntadher Shamran, and the Head of the Tourism Studies Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohan Al-Toufi.

The meeting included a discussion on the mechanisms for organizing and conducting a joint examination between the two sides, establishing ways to ensure its implementation with high efficiency and in accordance with academic quality standards. Additionally, a number of scientific and organizational issues of mutual interest were discussed, contributing to the development of the educational process and enhancing institutional integration between both parties.

This meeting comes in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aim to support solid scientific partnerships and elevate the academic level of public and private educational institutions.
