Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry at Ahlulbait University, Prof. Dr. Salma Al-Mousawi, and guided by the principles of scientific integrity and social responsibility, the college, in cooperation with the Holy Karbala Health Directorate, organized a scientific awareness seminar on Tuesday regarding the dangers of the viral hepatitis virus. The seminar covered its types, methods of transmission, and mechanisms of spread, as well as prevention and control methods in accordance with approved health standards.

The seminar aimed to enhance health awareness among faculty members and students and to highlight the importance of adhering to occupational safety and prevention measures to curb the spread of infection within health and community institutions.

On the sidelines of the seminar, the Student Activities Unit at the college, with active participation from a number of students, held an awareness exhibition and festival on Wednesday that addressed educational and guidance topics regarding mechanisms for combating viral infection transmission, within the framework of supporting scientific activities aimed at serving the community.

The event concluded with the honoring of participating students with certificates of appreciation and excellence medals. The Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Amjad Fouad, and the Head of the Conservative Dentistry Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafid Jihad, presented the certificates in recognition of their outstanding efforts and active participation, wishing them continued brilliance and success in their academic journey.
