As part of its efforts to develop academic programs and enhance scientific cooperation between educational institutions, the Department of Religious Tourism at the College of Islamic Sciences at Ahlulbait University (AS) has concluded a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tourism Techniques Department at the Karbala Polytechnic College, with the aim of exchanging expertise and knowledge in the fields of education, scientific research, and training.

Dr. Azzam Al-Rubaie, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, explained that this memorandum is part of the college's orientation toward building bridges of cooperation with reputable academic institutions, which contributes to raising the scientific and practical level of students. He noted that the cooperation will include organizing joint workshops, exchanging academic visits, and developing curricula to suit the requirements of the labor market in the religious tourism sector.

Both sides emphasized the importance of activating the provisions of the agreement to achieve shared goals and contribute to serving the community by preparing qualified cadres capable of supporting the religious tourism sector in Iraq.
