As part of the weekly activities adopted by the College of Islamic Sciences at Ahlulbait University, and in its commitment to enhancing the scientific and intellectual aspects for its staff and students, the college organized a scientific symposium titled "Linguistics and its Applications to Human Sciences," delivered by Dr. Salah Jalukhan, with the participation of a group of professors and those interested in this field.

During the symposium, Jalukhan discussed several themes related to linguistics, most notably the relationship between language and thought, the role of language in shaping human concepts, as well as the applications of linguistics in fields such as psychology, sociology, philosophy, and history.

The lecturer also pointed out the importance of modern linguistic studies in understanding and analyzing social and cultural phenomena, explaining how linguistic techniques can contribute to developing research in the humanities and enhancing their analytical approaches.
